Port Tasting

Tasting plate

Buttermilk Blue, dried fruit, hazelnuts, chocolate

Broadbent White Port

Golden color with a strong nose and honey aromas. Sweet and nutty, this wine can be served at room temperature but is best chilled.

Quinta de la Rosa Ruby

Red cherries and berries, nice body and a long finish

Quinta da Romaneira Tawny

Complex on the nose, showing youthful fruit with a raspberry character. It is medium sweet with a well balanced fruit and richness.

Dow’s Boardroom Reserve Tawny

This is a ripe, sweet wine, full of toffee and smooth vanilla. There is just enough tangy bitter orange to give it a tawny character. The aftertaste, though, is soft and rounded.

Menéres 10 year Tawny

Aromas of salted Marcona almonds, dried leaves, allspice, clove, caramel, butterscotch, with a satiny, vibrant, and a medium-long vanilla-almond bark finish with moderate oak flavor.

Menéres 40 year Tawny

Aromas of tobacco and caramel on the palate-soft, almost syrupy creaminess that reveals licorice, dried porcini, bay leaf, and sweetness and a hint of black pepper.
